We will Get You Back on the Road Quickly! Whether your vehicle needs a routine service or emergency repair, you can trust our team of experts at our North Hamilton based workshop.

We are a modern family-owned, MTA assured shop with old-fashioned values - like honesty and integrity.

Founded in 1982 by Jon Butler as a Dyno Tuning business, Tuning & Performance has developed a reputation for their specialist mechanic work that adds power and performance.

Over the years, Tuning & Performance has expanded its services to include fabrication and car modifications and servicing and diagnostics and is now owned by Adrian Smith who first joined as one of the team of mechanics. After starting in Nisbett Street, Tuning & Performance has moved a few times over the years & is now located at 100 Avalon Drive in a purpose-built new building complete with up to date state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.

We are proud to be a member of the Auto Super Shoppe Group and one of 90+ workshops nationwide selected to represent the Auto Super Shoppe brand. Through the combined effort of industry suppliers backing the "premium service centre" philosophy, Auto Super Shoppes have selected the best workshops throughout New Zealand to join the Auto Super Shoppe network.
