WOF Epsom Auckland
If your vehicle was registered before January 1st, 2000, a Warrant of Fitness, or WOF, is required every six months. For cars younger than that, a WOF is an annual necessity. If your car is new, then you don’t need a WOF until its third birthday.
A Warrant of Fitness is basically an overall check-up of your car. In order to make sure it’s road worthy, a certified mechanic will go through a comprehensive checklist of things that need to be working to a satisfactory legal standard.
All Epsom Automotive technicians are fully qualified Warrant of Fitness inspectors. They complete regular update courses and liaise with New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) on all WOF requirements.
A Warrant of Fitness is not only a check-up for your car, but a way to keep yourself and others safe on the road. Call Epsom Automotive today to book in your WOF, and our friendly and professional staff will have you back on the road in no time.
Did you know:
It’s a good idea to combine your WOF and vehicle service because WOF inspections do not cover all aspects of your vehicle. For example engine, clutch, gearbox and differential; lubricant levels and condition; brake pad thickness or life expectancy; and paint work condition and rust in non-structural areas are not checked in WOF inspections, but they can be checked as part of a vehicle service.
