"Just a quick note to let you know I had the absolute pleasure to deal with Jim Hasseldine and the team at Auto Super Shoppes in Blenheim (Topp Motors) this week. My son and I were travelling in his car from Christchurch to Gisborne when about an hour south of Blenheim disaster struck and we lost the left front wheel, after waiting a few hours for AA to arrange a tow I contacted Jim at the recommendation of the towie at about 4pm, he agreed to wait and we were towed into Blenheim just before 5pm. Jim quickly assessed what was required and ordered the parts and assured us the car would be ready at lunchtime the next day, I was staggered at the level of service. Jim modestly said "I like to treat people how I would like to be treated in the same situation". This ethos used to be commonplace in many businesses but has been lost in the madness of modern society. But this is where he went the extra mile, after inquiring if we had arranged accomodation (which my wife had done) he not only gave us his workshop run about to get there, but drew maps of how to get there and also where to eat and then suggested things to see and do the next day while we waited for the repairs. We made the ferry exactly 24 hours later than our original booking and made it safely back to Gisborne today, something I didn't think possible when the damage first occurred. "I just wanted to send a quick email to say what a very impressive company you run. I was recommended Mayne automotive by my husband, I came into get my WOF about two weeks ago. I booked in for 10.30am and my car was worked on straightaway, I noticed how clean, tidy and well organised the workshop was. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the place had a very professional feel. It really was a completely different experience than the usual places I have been to where there is no where to sit and wait and I always sit nervously praying that nothing major comes up and if so what do I do about it! Because I know little about cars, I worry that I may be misquoted or misguided on what repairs I may need. This time it was worry free, it was explained to me a few very minor repairs were needed such as light bulbs replaced. It was done on the spot and I was gone. Because I had my son with me, the car was reversed into the work shop so I could put him in his seat and drive out the door. "

"I had my wof check at eastgate on the go today and my Ute failed it's inspection. I sat and watched them do the inspection and they spent a long time looking over my Ute and did a fantastic job. They looked at every thing and let me know what I needed to have fixed to keep my Ute safe for me and the people that drive it. Some outlets don't take the time to do the inspection that they are paid for. Awesome work guy's. Will be seeing you soon for a recheck.
